A tragic motorcycle accident on Monday evening resulted in the death of 50-year-old Anand Sreedharan from New Jersey. The collision occurred around 7:00 p.m. at mile marker 240 on southbound I-95 in Township 2 Range 9.
According to Maine State Police, Sreedharan was riding his motorcycle when a moose unexpectedly entered his lane. The impact caused him to be ejected from the motorcycle, leading to fatal injuries. The moose also did not survive the collision.
