Fatal Silver Spring shooting death of Christian Ortiz – Obituary.
Montgomery County police are currently investigating the tragic shooting that resulted in the death of 18-year-old Christian Ortiz on the night of October 1. Around 9:45 p.m., officers from the Montgomery County Department of Police responded to reports of a shooting in the vicinity of Barron Street and Domer Avenue.
Upon their arrival, officers found Ortiz wounded in the playground area of Seek Lane Park, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities are urging anyone with information related to this incident to contact them at 1-866-411-8477 or submit a tip online. A reward of up to $10,000 is available for information that leads to an arrest.
