Jaime Joel Flores-Castillo dies in fatal Summerville pedestrian accident
Fatal Summerville pedestrian accident death of Jaime Joel Flores-Castillo – Obituary.
Authorities have identified a man who tragically died in a pedestrian accident in Summerville. Jaime Joel Flores-Castillo, a 35-year-old resident of Mexico, lost his life in a collision on College Park Road near Moses Extension on August 23.
Flores-Castillo was involved in a pedestrian versus vehicle incident and was taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. For nearly two weeks, he remained unidentified until the coroner’s office was able to establish his identity. Coroner Hartwell noted that he was described as a Hispanic male, aged between 30 and 45.
The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
