One officer sustained a gunshot wound to the arm but has since been discharged from the hospital, as reported by the police department.
The incident unfolded around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Curry Road and College Avenue when officers attempted to pull over the suspect, who then opened fire. Police returned fire, resulting in the suspect being struck and later declared dead.
