Fatal Snow Canyon State Park car crash death of Sawyer Sherk – Obituary
Utah Tech University student Sawyer Sherk has been identified as the victim of a tragic car crash that occurred on September 25 in Snow Canyon State Park. Sherk was driving when his vehicle veered off the road and rolled several hundred feet down a cliff, leading to his death at the scene.
Two other teens were also involved in the accident and were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. One of them was identified as freshman Kali Parkinson, while the other chose to remain unnamed. Authorities suspect that Sherk may have been driving at speeds up to 100 miles per hour before the crash occurred.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
