Fatal M40 crash death of a woman – Obituary.
A tragic incident occurred on the M40 where a woman lost her life, and a man suffered serious injuries in a collision involving a Peugeot Boxer van and a Hyundai Tucson. The crash took place between junction 11, for Banbury, and junction 12, for Gaydon, around 19:15 BST on Saturday.
Following the incident, 23-year-old Akashdeep Singh, who was allegedly behind the wheel of the van, has been charged in connection with the accident. He appeared in Coventry Magistrates Court on Wednesday and is set to appear at Warwick Crown Court on 31 October.
Singh faces multiple charges, including causing death by dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance. Warwickshire Police continue to seek witnesses, particularly those who observed a collision involving a light-blue BMW 218 Coupe and a grey VW Golf just prior to the fatal crash.
