A resident of Sylacauga, James T. Trussell, lost his life in a tragic single-vehicle accident on Friday night, as reported by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. The incident occurred around 11:05 p.m. on Alabama 76, close to the 12-mile marker in Childersburg, Talladega County.
Trussell, 36, suffered fatal injuries when the concrete mixer he was operating veered off the road, collided with a metal post, then re-entered the roadway before overturning. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
