Jose Angel Ruan Lopez dies in fatal Otay Mesa motorcycle crash
Fatal Otay Mesa motorcycle crash death of Jose Angel Ruan Lopez – Obituary.
Jose Angel Ruan Lopez, 20, tragically lost his life earlier this week in a motorcycle accident in Otay Mesa. The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Lopez died after his Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle collided with a disabled box truck parked on the side of Enrico Fermi Drive, just north of Otay Mesa Road.
The crash occurred around 4:40 a.m. on Monday. Lopez was thrown from his motorcycle after striking the stationary vehicle and sustained severe injuries. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities temporarily closed Enrico Fermi Drive for an investigation, and the California Highway Patrol is urging anyone who may have witnessed the accident to contact their San Diego office.
