Durham police have identified the victims of a recent homicide as two women from Courtice, one aged 30 and the other 67. Katrina Zwolinkski and her mother, Laurie Crew, were discovered deceased at a residence on Tuesday.
The individual arrested at the scene has been named as Michael Belhu, 33, who is the former boyfriend of Katrina and the father of a child present during the incident. Thankfully, the child was unharmed and is the son of Katrina and grandson of Laurie.
Belhu faces two charges of Second Degree Murder and is awaiting a bail hearing.
