Despite the immediate response from first responders, Bennett succumbed to his injuries at the site of the crash. Investigators suspect the vehicle involved is a black Toyota Prius, which reportedly has a damaged windshield and is missing its Toyota grill emblem. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Asheville Police Department.
