Fatal Winona County motorcycle crash death of Ross Anthony Stensrud – Obituary
A Rochester man, 61-year-old Ross Anthony Stensrud, tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on Thursday evening in Winona County, Minnesota.
The crash occurred on Highway 74, about a mile south of Interstate 90. Stensrud was riding north when his motorcycle veered off the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Authorities reported that Stensrud was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and alcohol was a contributing factor. The Winona County Sheriff’s Office, along with St. Charles police and fire departments, also responded to the incident.
