Fatal Congaree River incident death of Voyd Tribble III – Obituary
Voyd Tribble III, a 51-year-old resident of Pomaria, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim whose body was discovered in the Congaree River on Tuesday. According to Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford, deputies responded to the scene on Rosewood Drive around 6:00 p.m.
While no immediate signs of trauma were apparent, the investigation will continue in collaboration with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department and the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
