Fatal Fort Worth shooting death of Joseph Padilla – Obituary

A homicide investigation has been launched following a shooting incident near the Fort Worth Stockyards that resulted in one death and multiple injuries early Sunday morning.

 

The Fort Worth Police Department reported that they responded to reports of gunfire in the 100 block of NW 24th Street around 3 a.m. on October 6. Upon arrival, officers discovered several individuals had been shot, including one who was deceased at the scene. The other injured victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment and are expected to recover, while an additional victim was taken to the hospital via private vehicle.

 

On Sunday, the Tarrant County Medical Examiner confirmed the identity of the deceased as 18-year-old Joseph Padilla.

 

As of now, no arrests have been made related to this deadly shooting. Authorities are encouraging anyone with relevant information to reach out to the Fort Worth Police Department.
