Alex Folnagy dies in fatal Franklin Township crash
Fatal Franklin Township crash death of Alex Folnagy – Obituary.
On October 15 at 7:24 a.m., a head-on vehicle collision occurred on Amwell Road near South Middlebush Road in Franklin Township, as reported by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office. Alex Folnagy, a 31-year-old resident of Somerset, was identified as the driver who lost his life in this tragic incident.
Folnagy was behind the wheel of a 2010 white Nissan Altima and was the only occupant of the vehicle. He was declared dead at the scene. The occupants of a 2018 red Jeep Wrangler involved in the crash sustained injuries, which, fortunately, are not life-threatening.
The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Collision Analysis Reconstruction Team, along with the Franklin Township Police Department’s Traffic Safety Bureau, is currently investigating the circumstances that led to the crash.
