Bruce William Dupree dies in fatal Bulloch County homicide
Fatal Bulloch County homicide of Bruce William Dupree – Obituary.
Bruce William Dupree, a resident of the Candler County area, was tragically found dead on the side of Highway I-16 after suffering multiple stab wounds from an unknown weapon. First responders were unable to save him following the incident that took place Monday night.
The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office has provided updates following the discovery of Dupree’s body. They received reports of a man with bloody hands at the Pojos Convenience Store, but the individual left before deputies could arrive. Subsequently, authorities were notified that the same man was trespassing at the Patriot Inn motel, where they arrested him.
The suspect has been identified as 31-year-old Robert Brandon Lewis Keller, who is facing multiple charges including malice murder, armed robbery, hijacking a motor vehicle, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony. Keller has a criminal background and hails from North Carolina.
The investigation remains active as deputies work to determine the relationship between Keller and Dupree.
