The shooting occurred at the Gospel Gardens Apartments on Haven Court shortly after 12:30 a.m. Police report that a woman and a man were transported to Regional One in critical condition, while another man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man who was hospitalized later succumbed to his injuries and has been identified as the suspect in this case, according to Memphis Police Department officials. Initial reports suggest that the shooting was linked to a domestic violence situation. Another individual present, identified as 39-year-old Jamarus Wilson, was arrested and charged with tampering with or fabricating evidence.
