Fatal Louisville shooting death of Timothy Berry – Obituary
A teenager, Timothy Berry, who was critically injured in a shooting in Old Louisville on Wednesday afternoon, has passed away. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of South 3rd and St. Catherine streets, according to a statement from Louisville Metro Police spokesperson John Bradley.
Officers found Berry at the scene after responding to reports of gunfire. He was rushed to UofL Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office confirmed his identity on Thursday.
The police have initiated an investigation into the shooting, and the LMPD Homicide Unit is actively seeking information from the public.
