Halifax County deputies are investigating the fatal shooting of 48-year-old Lamar Lashley, who was found dead near a bicycle on Washington Avenue in Weldon late Monday night. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire around 10:45 p.m. and discovered Lashley’s body in the roadway.
The suspects, identified as 29-year-old Dashan Taylor and 23-year-old Tyquan Brown, both of Weldon, are wanted for first-degree murder. They are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is urged to contact authorities.
