Dustin C. Gray, a 30-year-old man from Bardstown, was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident over the weekend in Meade County. The incident occurred on Sunday morning, just before 11:25 a.m., when Kentucky State Police were alerted to a crash in the Ekron community.
According to a release from KSP Post 4, Gray was riding a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Garrett Road when he lost control and veered off the road, colliding with a utility pole. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Meade County Coroner’s Office, although the specific cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Garrett Road was closed for several hours following the incident, with assistance provided by Meade County EMS and the Ekron Volunteer Fire Department. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
