Fatal Norfolk shooting death of James E. Lindsey III – Obituary.
Police have confirmed the identity of a man who was found shot to death in Norfolk on Sunday night as 40-year-old James E. Lindsey III. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. in the 1600 block of Madison Avenue, close to Park Avenue and Virginia Beach Boulevard, in proximity to Booker T. Washington High School.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered Lindsey suffering from a gunshot wound and he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. Authorities are treating this case as a homicide but have not yet identified any suspects.
