Authorities have confirmed the identity of a man who was shot and killed in Roswell, New Mexico, late Monday night. The victim, 46-year-old Joseph Russell, was discovered lying in the street at the intersection of East Third Street and Orchard Avenue after gunfire erupted around 10:45 p.m.
Responding officers found Russell and he was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
