Fatal Reno shooting death of Darryl R. Smith – Obituary
The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that the individual who lost his life in a shooting on West 2nd Street in Reno is Darryl R. mith, a 43-year-old local resident. The Reno Police Department responded to reports of gunfire near the intersection of West 2nd Street and Roth Way around 3:15 PM on October 20.
Upon arrival, officers found two men with gunshot wounds. One victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while the other was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, led by the Reno Police Department’s Robbery Homicide Unit.
