George Grays dies in fatal Youngstown shooting
Fatal Youngstown shooting death of George Grays – Obituary
Authorities have identified the victim of a shooting that occurred in a vehicle in Youngstown. The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office confirmed that the deceased man is 62-year-old George Grays.
The shooting took place around 1:30 a.m. on Norwood Avenue in the 400 block on the North Side. Police arrived on the scene and attempted to provide life-saving measures; however, Grays was pronounced dead.
Investigators collected evidence and shell casings from the area surrounding the vehicle. The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office and the Youngstown Police Department are continuing to investigate the incident, and an autopsy is forthcoming.
