Krystal Rubi Reynaga dies in fatal Bakersfield police crash
Fatal Bakersfield crash death of Krystal Rubi Reynaga – Obituary
On October 13, 2024, Krystal Rubi Reynaga, a 26-year-old woman from Wasco, lost her life in a collision involving the Bakersfield Police Department in East Bakersfield. The incident occurred around 5:40 a.m. at the intersection of Kern and Niles streets.
Reynaga was a passenger in the vehicle, which crashed and resulted in her being taken to Kern Medical, where she was pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle was ejected from the car and was declared dead at the scene; however, his identity has not been disclosed by the coroner.
In addition to Reynaga, a 3-year-old boy named Jeremiah Hernandez suffered severe injuries in the crash. According to a GoFundMe page set up for him, he is currently in stable condition at Children’s Hospital in Madera. The investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
