Fatal Cahokia Heights shooting death of Lakarlo D. Williams – Obituary
Authorities are investigating the death of Lakarlo D. Williams, a 48-year-old man from Cahokia Heights, who was found shot inside a burning vehicle. Police received reports of a crash shortly after 10 p.m. in the 5800 block of Mitchell Lane. Upon arrival, officers discovered Williams in a vehicle engulfed in flames, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze while the man was removed from the vehicle, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
