Fatal Ogden Canyon crash claims the life of Quincie Holman – Obituary
A head-on collision in Ogden Canyon resulted in the death of 20-year-old Quincie Holman from Salt Lake City on Wednesday afternoon. According to Utah Highway Patrol, Holman was driving a Hyundai Elantra westbound on State Route 39 when she attempted to pass several vehicles near mile marker 10.
During the passing maneuver, Holman’s vehicle collided head-on with an oncoming car. She sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Utah Department of Transportation temporarily closed both directions of the canyon road following the crash, advising motorists to expect delays and seek alternate routes. No additional injuries were reported.
