Darren Johnson dies in fatal Southeast DC shooting
Fatal Southeast DC shooting death of Darren Johnson – Obituary
Darren Johnson, a 16-year-old boy, was fatally shot in Southeast Washington, D.C., on Friday afternoon. The incident took place around 4:15 p.m. in the 2800 block of Langston Place, where police responded to reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, officers found Johnson and a man who had both sustained gunshot wounds. Emergency responders transported both individuals to the hospital; however, Johnson succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. The man remains hospitalized and is being treated for critical injuries.
