Fatal Upper Bucks crash death of Michael Amend – Obituary
A tragic incident occurred in Upper Bucks County when Michael Amend, a 34-year-old man from High Bridge, New Jersey, lost his life in a car accident. The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office confirmed his passing, which was reported on Saturday, October 22.
The collision took place around 1:10 p.m. in the 800 block of River Road in Tinicum Township, where Amend was a passenger in a vehicle that struck a tree. Despite being rushed to St. Luke’s University Hospital in Fountain Hill, he was pronounced dead at 6:25 p.m. The coroner ruled his death as accidental, resulting from blunt force injuries sustained in the crash. The driver, a woman also from High Bridge, suffered minor injuries in the incident.
The Tinicum Township Police Department and the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office are conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
