Fatal Hesperia truck crash death of Agustin Beltran – Obituary
A tragic accident claimed the life of 56-year-old Agustin Beltran in Hesperia, California, when his truck collided with an exit sign on the I-15 freeway. The incident occurred on Saturday, October 26, 2024, around 10:00 AM, as Beltran was driving a gray Nissan Titan northbound on the freeway, just south of Main Street.
Details surrounding the crash remain unclear as authorities continue their investigation. It is reported that Beltran lost control of his vehicle, veering off the road and crashing into the Main Street exit sign. The force of the impact caused the truck to wrap around the sign’s steel pole, trapping him inside.
Emergency personnel from the San Bernardino County Fire Department arrived promptly but pronounced Beltran dead at the scene. Following the accident, the no. 3 lane of the southbound I-15 and Mariposa Road, located between Joshua Street and Main Street, were closed for several hours for safety measures and cleanup.
