Fatal Amarillo SUV crash death of Christian Camacho – Obituary
A tragic incident occurred on Monday evening when a 20-year-old man lost his life after his SUV lost control and crashed into a house in Amarillo, authorities reported. The accident took place around 6:26 p.m. in the 4200 block of Relatta Drive, where witnesses stated that a Honda SUV rolled several times before colliding with a residence located at the corner of Western Street and Relatta Drive.
The driver, identified as Christian Camacho, was reportedly trying to overtake a semi-truck while heading south on Western when the mishap occurred. Camacho was pronounced dead at the scene, but fortunately, no injuries were reported for anyone inside the home.
The Amarillo Police Department’s Traffic Investigation Unit is currently looking into the crash.
