Duane Huff dies in fatal Oakland motorcycle accident
Fatal Oakland motorcycle accident death of Duane Huff – Obituary
Duane Huff, an 88-year-old man from Roseburg, lost his life in a motorcycle accident Friday afternoon in the Oakland area of Douglas County. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office received a report around 3:40 p.m. that a crashed motorcycle had been discovered in a field in the 12000 block of Elkhead Road. The caller, who attempted to assist, found Huff unresponsive at the scene.
After examining the location, authorities determined that Huff had been traveling south on Elkhead Road when he encountered a curve. He apparently lost control while navigating the turn, causing his motorcycle to slide sideways off the road into gravel. The bike then continued down a steep embankment, leading to the fatal crash.
Huff’s identity was confirmed, and his family has been notified of his passing.
