Fatal Vicksburg I-20 accident death of Gracie Wren – Obituary
A heartbreaking incident occurred on I-20 West near the 18-mile marker in Vicksburg, Mississippi, resulting in the death of 15-year-old Gracie Wren and injuries to four others. The accident took place late Friday night at approximately 11:41 p.m. when a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by 33-year-old Lauren Young, veered off the road and struck the median.
Gracie Wren was a passenger in the vehicle and was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Lauren Young and three other minor passengers from Vicksburg were transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson for treatment of their injuries, which are reported to be of an unknown severity.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this tragic crash.
