A tragic accident in Sumter County has resulted in the death of 15-year-old Marvin Butler, who was struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning. The incident occurred on Britton Road, with authorities receiving reports of the collision between 5:45 a.m. and 6 a.m.
Sumter County Coroner Robbie Baker confirmed that Butler died at the scene. An autopsy is scheduled for the upcoming week to determine further details surrounding the incident.
