Fatal Scott County pedestrian accident claims the life of Peggy Brennan – Obituary
Peggy Brennan, a 32-year-old woman from northern Kentucky, lost her life early Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle while walking on Interstate 75 in Scott County. Authorities are uncertain why Brennan was on the interstate when the incident occurred around 4 a.m. near mile marker 139.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered Brennan deceased in the middle lane of I-75. A preliminary investigation revealed that she had been standing in the road when hit. The driver involved cooperated fully with the investigation, and officials noted that neither drugs nor alcohol were believed to have played a role in the collision.
The Georgetown Scott County Collision Investigation Unit is continuing to look into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
