A tragic motorcycle accident in Forrest County has claimed the life of 40-year-old Ryan Macpherson from Columbia. The incident occurred on Tuesday, October 29, at approximately 1:30 p.m. on the Evelyn Gandy Parkway ramp off I-59, where Macpherson’s motorcycle collided with a Dodge Ram pickup.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP), Macpherson was heading north from Hinton Road and was crossing over Highway 42 at the time of the crash. Emergency responders arrived quickly, but Macpherson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is still ongoing, as officials work to determine the exact cause of the collision.
