A tragic shooting incident occurred late Sunday in a South Natomas apartment complex, resulting in the death of a 17-year-old boy identified as Jason Sandoval. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office confirmed his identity as police continue their investigation into the shooting, which also claimed the life of another man and left a 17-year-old girl with multiple gunshot wounds, although her condition has stabilized since being taken to the hospital.
The shooting took place outside an apartment in the vicinity of the 2000 block of West El Camino Avenue and Azevedo Drive, following a large party that had been held earlier. The identity of the older victim has not yet been disclosed by authorities, and no arrests have been made in connection with the case.
