Keagahn Smith-Price dies in fatal Bedford County crash

Fatal Bedford County crash death of Keagahn Smith-Price – Obituary

Keagahn Smith-Price, a 16-year-old student from Altoona Area High School, was tragically killed in a crash near Breezewood on Sunday night. He was one of two individuals who lost their lives in separate accidents that day, with Smith-Price’s birthday having been just the day prior to the incident.

 

According to a GoFundMe campaign set up to support his family, Smith-Price was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and had a passion for football, playing for his high school team. He was also dedicated to animal welfare, volunteering numerous hours at the Second Chance Strays Cat Rescue and Lounge, where he assisted with various tasks while always wearing a smile.

 

In addition to his work with the rescue, Smith-Price participated in youth baseball with the East End Youth Baseball League and played for the Burgmeier team. In response to the tragic loss of Smith-Price and another student, the school district is providing grief counseling and support services for students and staff.
