Fatal Colorado Springs disturbance death of Dominic Godinez – Obituary

A disturbance in Colorado Springs resulted in the death of 27-year-old Dominic Godinez, who was found deceased early Sunday morning, October 27. The incident took place shortly before 2 a.m. in the 11100 block of Cedar Glen View, located northwest of the Interquest and Voyager Parkway intersection.

 

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of the disturbance. Upon arrival, they discovered Godinez deceased. The El Paso County Coroner’s Office will provide an official determination regarding the cause and manner of death, which is currently being treated as a homicide.

 

While all individuals related to the investigation are accounted for, no arrests have yet been made, and CSPD is continuing its inquiry. Authorities encourage anyone with information or potential witnesses to come forward by contacting police at (719) 444-4000, or anonymously via the Crime Stoppers tip line at (719) 634-STOP (7867). This incident marks the 37th homicide in Colorado Springs for 2024, compared to 27 at the same time last year.
