Kenton Bluitt dies in fatal San Joaquin County shooting

Fatal San Joaquin County shooting death of Kenton Bluitt – Obituary

Authorities have identified Kenton Bluitt, an 18-year-old resident, as the victim in a tragic incident initially believed to be a solo vehicle crash in San Joaquin County. On November 1, 2024, the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a single-vehicle accident at the intersection of Jack Tone and Collier roads, located just north of the Lockeford community.

 

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered that Bluitt had sustained gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the location of the crash. Following this revelation, the California Highway Patrol handed over the investigation to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office, which later ruled the case a homicide.

 

Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or possesses information pertinent to the investigation to reach out to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office.
