Adam Bouvet dies in fatal Dallas crash
Fatal Dallas crash death of Adam Bouvet – Obituary
A Southern California father was tragically killed after heroically protecting his family from an out-of-control vehicle. Adam Bouvet, 50, was visiting Dallas, Texas, with his wife, Tracy, and their daughter on October 25 when the incident occurred.
After enjoying a meal together, the family was returning home when a driver lost control and veered off the road, crashing into them. Witnesses report that Adam pushed his family to safety, absorbing the impact himself.
His wife, Tracy, firmly believes that Adam’s actions saved her life, with a close friend stating, “He died a hero.” Adam sustained a traumatic brain injury and was rushed to the ICU for emergency surgery. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries days later, while Tracy sustained only minor injuries, and their two daughters and grandchild were unharmed.
A beloved figure in his community, Adam co-owned The Mill Restaurant in Murrieta for 17 years, where he was well-known for his kindness and generosity. In his memory, a memorial has been established outside the restaurant, adorned with flowers and mementos.
Friends and family gathered to honor Adam at The Mill, expressing their grief over his sudden loss. Many local restaurants are collaborating to raise funds for the Bouvet family to assist with medical and funeral costs, recognizing Adam as a pillar of the community. A GoFundMe page has also been set up to support the family during this difficult time.
