Fatal Clackamas County crash death of Ryan Edward Bloomster – Obituary.

The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into a fatal accident that took place along South Springwater Road. Deputies were called to the scene at 5 p.m. on Friday after reports of a serious collision involving two vehicles.

Upon arrival, they discovered a head-on crash between a 2012 Dodge Ram truck and a 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser. The driver of the PT Cruiser, 22-year-old Ryan Edward Bloomster from Estacada, was declared dead at the scene. A 22-year-old female passenger from the same vehicle was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Dodge Ram, 51-year-old Paul Anthony Dunn from Happy Valley, and a 12-year-old female passenger were both taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. Investigators currently believe that Bloomster may have been unable to properly navigate a curve prior to the collision.
