Fatal Fort Worth collision death of Veronica Elzalde – Obituary
Veronica Elzalde, 24, was identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office as the victim of a six-vehicle crash that took place on October 31 along Interstate 35 at Sycamore School Road in Fort Worth. Elzalde was a passenger in a sedan that was rear-ended by another vehicle around 5:44 a.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other passengers in the sedan were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
The crash involved a chain reaction with four additional passenger cars and a commercial vehicle after the initial impact, leading authorities to close the highway for several hours as they cleared the wreckage. The Fort Worth Police Department is continuing its investigation into the cause of the accident.
