Fatal Parkland motorcycle crash death of Boris Katz – Obituary

PARKLAND, FL — The motorcyclist who lost his life in a collision last Friday in Parkland has been identified by authorities as 65-year-old local resident Boris Katz.

The incident occurred around 1 p.m. close to Loxahatchee Road and Parkside Drive, as reported by the Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit.

Early reports reveal that Katz was riding his 2015 BMW K1300 motorcycle eastbound on Loxahatchee Road when the accident took place. Investigators noted that Ronald Strobl, who was driving a 2023 BMW X5 SUV, entered Katz’s path as he attempted a southbound turn onto Parkside Drive.
