Fatal Bella Vista shooting death of Drake Myles Alfaro – Obituary
The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance from the public following a tragic shooting at a Halloween party that resulted in the death of 18-year-old Drake Myles Alfaro. The incident occurred around 1:10 a.m. on October 27 in the 21000 block of Highway 299 in Bella Vista, where deputies discovered Alfaro deceased upon their arrival.
In addition to Alfaro, five other adults sustained injuries during the shooting. While their injuries were deemed non-life-threatening and they were transported to Redding hospitals, the sheriff’s office has not provided further details about their conditions.
As of now, there have been no arrests directly linked to the shooting. However, on the day of the incident, law enforcement apprehended three individuals on suspicion of resisting or obstructing a peace officer. Authorities have identified a potential suspect in the shooting and have conducted interviews, though it remains unclear if that individual has faced any charges.
