Fatal Adams County accident claims the life of Mary Neale – Obituary

Mary Neale, a 79-year-old woman from Centre Hall, Pennsylvania, has been identified as the victim of a tragic crash that occurred on Friday, November 1, 2024. The accident took place around 10:35 a.m. on Route 15 southbound near mile marker 4.5 in Cumberland Township, Adams County.

 

Following the collision, Neale was transported to Gettysburg Hospital, where she unfortunately succumbed to her injuries later that day, as confirmed by Adams County Chief Deputy Coroner Scott Pennewill. The autopsy revealed that the cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries.

 

Neale was driving one of the two vehicles involved in the incident, while her husband, who was a passenger, suffered only minor injuries and was treated at York Hospital before being released. The driver of the second vehicle was also reported to have sustained no serious injuries. The Pennsylvania State Police and Cumberland Township police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
