On October 2, 2024, a TikTok influencer, Terryon Ishmael Thomas, 20, was arrested in relation to the murder of therapist William Nicholas Abraham, 69, whose body was discovered wrapped in a tarp along a Louisiana highway over the weekend.
Abraham’s remains were found on September 29, along Highway 51, situated between Fluker and the Village of Tangipahoa, approximately 60 miles northeast of Baton Rouge, where he worked. The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office reported that the local coroner determined the cause of death to be blunt force trauma, ruling it a homicide.
Thomas was apprehended in Dallas, Texas, on October 1, where he had been evading law enforcement. He remains in custody without bond. He was previously wanted on multiple charges, including aggravated criminal damage to property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and resisting an officer.
Details about the circumstances leading to Abraham’s death, including whether he had any connection with Thomas, have not yet been released. A warrant indicates that Baton Rouge police attempted to stop a stolen vehicle driven by Thomas shortly before his arrest, but he fled the scene after crashing the car.
Terryon Thomas, who is known as “Mr. Prada” on TikTok, has a significant online following, boasting over 3.9 million followers. His profile featured posts that were still active as of Wednesday, with the most recent video shared just days prior to his arrest.
