Fatal Northwest DC shooting death of Brandon Ward – Obituary
Brandon Ward, 22, of Northwest D.C., was tragically found shot and killed in Rock Creek Cemetery on Saturday, November 9. Authorities responded to the scene around 4:45 p.m. after reports of a shooting. Ward was discovered unconscious and not breathing in a rear area of the cemetery, near the 5000 block of First Street NW. Despite efforts from DC Fire and EMS, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the homicide, and they are urging anyone with information to come forward. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for relevant tips.
