HUNTSVILLE, AL – Huntsville Police have confirmed the death of 24-year-old Davante Centrell Dixon, who succumbed to gunshot wounds following a shooting at a Meridian Street gas station in October. On October 12, around 10 p.m., officers responded to reports of gunshots near the Chevron station at 3310 Meridian Street. They found 22-year-old Damien Obrien Manning dead at the scene and Dixon critically injured. Dixon was rushed to the hospital but later passed away from his injuries. Multiple suspects from Huntsville have been arrested in connection to the incident, with charges including reckless murder. Police are continuing their investigation.
