Fatal Slidell crash death of Farrell Pichon – Obituary
A fatal crash occurred early on Monday, November 11, 2024, on the Highway 11 overpass in Slidell, Louisiana, when a Chevrolet Colorado crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Chevrolet Equinox. The driver of the Equinox, 47-year-old Farrell Pichon, suffered severe injuries and was transported to a hospital, where he later died.
A passenger in the Equinox sustained minor to moderate injuries, while the driver of the Chevrolet Colorado only had minor injuries. Authorities reported that neither Pichon nor the driver of the Colorado was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The investigation is still ongoing, but impairment is not believed to have contributed to the collision.
