Fatal Mesquite crash death of Matthew Douglas Brashear – Obituary
A tragic accident in Mesquite, Nevada, on November 5th, claimed the life of 45-year-old Matthew Douglas Brashear, a resident of Valley Glen, California. Brashear was driving a 2021 blue Dodge Ram 1500 westbound on West Pioneer Blvd around 1:32 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle while navigating a curve. The truck spun out, hitting an unprotected center median and striking two metal light poles before overturning. The vehicle came to a stop on its roof, blocking both the left travel lane and the north shoulder. Despite efforts to save him, Brashear was declared dead at the scene. The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol’s Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating the incident.
